Through the tears

These drawing are reflections on world events. My current work addresses the human consequences of the war in Israel and Gaza. In these drawings I focus on the victims.. Primarily the women, the children, and the families who are trapped in this nightmare.

The larger groups of Refugees are part of a series I did in 2017 of Syrian Refugees and another in 2019 of the refugees at the border in Texas.

I use color pencils, watercolor pencils and neocolonial II on Rives BFK paper. Some are adhered to cradled wood panels and then varnished .
